More About Ms. Sherry:
Path to Madrona. My family joined the Madrona School community when my son entered the Thimbleberry Kindergarten class; he continued into the grades all the way through eighth grade. I initially helped out once a week in various capacities around the school, and then just as I thought I was going to become a "stay-at-home-mom", Miss Mary, the then-Thimbleberry teacher, asked if I would become her assistant teacher! I had a feeling of peace and said, "Yes."
On Community. Every year I learn more, and I feel blessed in community with my colleagues and the children. That is why I often sign off on emails with "Blessings". So again, I say, "Blessings on our School. Blessings on our families."
