Motivation. I have always enjoyed working with kids. Music holds a special place in my heart and has opened up so many doors for me. I love to share that passion with students, because it's fun to play music with other people and I think it can help them learn to focus on other subjects as well.

Pastimes. I like swimming, running and reading.

Teaching at Madrona School. My favorite part about teaching at Madrona School is that I can introduce music to so many students that might have never picked up an instrument. I also enjoy that I can work with the same students for 5 years. When they leave the school, they can call themselves a musician and even if they don't continue with this instrument, it can be a good basis for another direction in music.
